God's Blessing

A few months ago, my laptop George was stolen while we were answering a call at the hospital. I didn't expect I'd have another computer for a good many years. The last one was a gift and I knew we couldn't afford to buy a new one anytime soon.

In all my years in this earth, I have known that the Lord was faithful to my family and I and He has once again shown His grace to me recently. A close friend of my dad offered to purchase a brand new laptop for me. This person is not a relative and my dad only met him a few years ago through his ministry. So it was a pleasant surprise when my dad told me about his offer and I of course gladly accepted. So then, I'd like you guys to meet Charlie...

He's a Dell Inspiron 710m If I had memorized his specifications, I'd put it here, but I can't remember any of it. I thought my dad's friend was buying me a basic off-the-shelf laptop just to replace the old stolen one. Instead, what I got was more than I expected. 80gig, 512mb ram, 12.1 inch brilliant screen (the best feature, I think!), and a DVD writer. I'm just left amazed at how God can orchestrate things so that we get the best end of the bargain. I've thanked the man who have this to me and he said he was merely being a good steward of the many things God has given him. God truly is faithful!

Anyway, here's a picture of Charlie...

Check out http://www.konfabulator.com for widgets. This is what I used before I upgraded my OS to Tiger. I particularly found the Bad Boy Bard widget useful.

My gosh. You have a short memory. I used to have those in my old laptop and it was the first thing I looked for when I got Charlie. Hehe.
